Great design earns its place by solving the actual problem, not by looking finished. I care more about whether something works — for the user, for the business, and within the real constraints of what can actually be built — than whether it's polished. That's the lens I bring whether I'm working on a mature platform or an early-stage startup.
Selected work
I've designed products used by millions of learners and healthcare users, including NHS-supported tools, and built AI-powered features from scratch — like a quotation finder and research assistant now in production at Oxford Dictionaries. As a co-founder, I've taken a product from zero to a live UK pilot with real families. I move comfortably between large organisations and founding teams, wherever the work actually is.
