Alexandra Nemytova - CV - Our Future Health

Alexandra Nemytova

Senior Product Designer  |  UX/UI Designer  |  UX Strategy  |  AI-native

Product designer with 7+ years’ experience across healthtech, education and AI. I own projects end to end, from discovery and research through prototyping, delivery and evaluation. My experience includes designing and usability-testing NHS-supported tools, recruiting families into a developmental support pilot, and connecting digital journeys with calls and specialist support. I work in cross-functional teams, with accessibility and evidence informing design decisions.

Core experience

Senior UX Analyst (product design role)
Oxford University Press | Sept 2021 to present
  • Design to WCAG AA as standard across Oxford Academic products, from colour and interaction patterns to accessible front-end implementation
  • Led the redesign of Oxford Learning Link, a self-study and assessment portal for Higher Education students and tutors; cut the access flow from eight screens to three
  • Partnered with an external research agency, translating user-testing findings into design and flow changes; took one product from early stage to finished prototype
  • Lead UX discovery and analysis, present solutions to stakeholders and define research tasks; build HTML and Figma prototypes
  • Designed and shipped AI-powered features for Oxford English Dictionary, including a quotation finder and research assistant, now in production
  • Work in agile cross-functional teams with product managers, engineers and researchers across a complex product ecosystem
UX/UI Designer
Oxford Computer Consultants, B2B IT Consulting | May 2020 to Aug 2021
  • Designed and usability-tested the NHS COVID-19 (QCovid) risk calculator to GDS standards in a regulated context
  • Designed and researched a case management system for West Essex County Council through dozens of in-depth interviews with frontline social care workers, plus admin dashboards for volunteer matching and coordination
  • Facilitated a six-hour medical AI workshop with data scientists, medical researchers and developers; translated findings into a clickable prototype handed over for clinical validation and development
  • Redesigned core flows of PEMS, a student placement management platform, within existing backend constraints, based on four interviews and user shadowing; usability testing showed a 54% improvement in task-completion speed

Founding and startup projects

Cofounder, Product and Design Lead
Dododo, developmental support platform for families of neurodivergent children | Apr 2025 to present
(Current involvement: Advisory / part-time product strategy)
  • Co-founded a developmental screening and support platform for families of children aged 2 to 8, taking it from concept to a UK pilot backed by early friends and family investment
  • Recruited families into the pilot, iterating on the landing page to improve engagement: received 107 applications against a target of 20 participants; 20 families received full support and another 10 received product access without the full support package
  • Designed the participant journey across developmental screening, initial calls with the product team, consultations with an occupational therapist and exit surveys
  • Reshaped the product around parent confidence and practical support after pilot research showed that the main barrier was acting on guidance, rather than a lack of information
Product Designer (Freelance)
JobTime.ai, AI-powered job search platform, US market | Aug 2025 to Feb 2026
  • Owned product design for an AI-powered job search platform for the US market, including the marketing and onboarding funnel and dashboard; worked with AI engineers to understand model capabilities and limitations
Founding Product Designer
