MVP Development, iOS
A team of data scientists and medical researchers approached us with a request to develop a minimum viable product (MVP) for a medical AI solution. While they had a clear vision of the product and a working AI model, they needed a structured UX/UI approach to transform their concept into a functional and user-friendly digital product.
Medical AI Start-up
Our goal was to translate their research and AI technology into an intuitive product, ensuring that user experience, business requirements, and technical constraints were all aligned.
Research & Define
General information gathering, clients vision defining, finding issues and pain points, competitor analysis, gathering user requirements.
Exploring different solutions to fix a design problem and create a coherent experience that suits users and business goals.

I conducted and facilitated a workshop with stakeholders (including client’s and developer’s team)
During the 6 hours workshop, we identified key users, their goals and pains, created 3 personas and main scenarios for each of them.
User-journey-map-to-be were created for each user type.

Other UX deliverables at this stage:
  • User Stories
  • Technical requirements, technical feasibility and importance of features
Ideate
Explore ideas and coverage solutions to prototype
During this stage, we had weekly meetings with the client's team

UX deliverables:
  • User flows
  • Concept and sketches
  • Prioritization map
  • MVP scope
Prototype
UX deliverables:
  • Medium fidelity wireframe
  • Clickable prototype
Test
At this stage, we are developping our MVP to run user tests with the first group of users.
Impact & Next Steps
This project successfully bridged the gap between AI-driven research and practical healthcare application, delivering an MVP that combined scientific innovation with user-friendly UX/UI design.
  • Successfully transformed a research-based AI concept into a structured MVP, making it ready for pilot testing.
  • Ensured usability and compliance considerations were embedded from the start, optimising adoption in the medical sector.
  • Created a scalable UX framework, allowing for future feature expansion and improvements.
  • Aligned business, technical, and medical perspectives, ensuring a cohesive product strategy.
